Canada battle with weaponry on open field and trenches
The Canada weaponry was terrible before, but now they step in the field to battle. The guns Canada use were machine guns, rifles, artillery, clubs, pistol, melee weapons, and many more. There were cannons like the 18-pounder field gun. The ammo was big so only having the space for one. The shot were very strong; it can destroy a brick wall. The machine gun for Canada machine gun for example colt machine gun was for taking down group of enemy. Pistol, rifles, clubs were weapon that can be use well any situation, like club hand to hand. Pistols are for short range, and rifle for long range. The trenches are part of the war, they are deadly since grenade and cannon do huge damage. It’s good for constant sniping area and good for raids. It’s normal name for trenches no man land. Rifles were like bolt action. Canada use lee Enfield rifles. That’s many of the weaponry.
Canada plan for fighting and weaponry
Canada army in World War 1 was very small, but Canada did propaganda’s and had a few British troops. Canada had 3000 men at the beginning. Triple alliance and central power had a mass amount of soldier. The propaganda would help for United Kingdom (Britain) support as they said Canada would be involvement. Canada has camps to train solders. The camp was to prepare, since Canada was unprepared since of few troops and outdated guns. The weaponry weren’t horrible but German, Russian, example: had a better guns than the old wars with single shot sniper/rifles. The huge bundle of troops is necessary reinforcement for huge offensive and defensive. By attacking by naval and air for ground cover edge. The first battle was on 4th of august 1914. The Britain war is on the colonies dominion Empire. Canada war measure act is the first. The government was needed to borrow money. The war was able arrest Canadian on the right control property. That was how ww1 Canada went, it’s always determined by first battle to the end, end 61000 people died they fought hard.
